Fighter vs Fighter Launches Wednesday, June 20, 2015 - 11:39AM EDT
Fighter vs Fighter is the first online publication that blurs the line between Real Life Fighters and the Iconic Video Game Characters that we have come to love, and some cases idolize. I myself am a professional fighter and it took me a while to realize it, but all of my combat sport peers always shared my love for fighting games. The competive one-on-one nature of combat sports transfers nicely into fighting games and vice versa. This drive to seek out competion is the ke the combines both worlds together and is the reason why it is nearly impossible to find a martial artist that does not play fighting games or a fighting game eficiando that is not interested in martial arts. In a nutshell, UFC and Street Fighter are like peanute butter and jelly, and this web-site, it is going to be your sandwich shop. ;-)
You can expect alot of different content from this site, ranging from video interviews with Professional Fighter's about their favorite characters to a uique MMA inspired ranking system for Professional Fighting Gamers. That Tomy Brady will be battling for that top P4P spot!

ESPN Show "His & Hers" comment on Fighting Game HOF "Snubs". Friday, June 20, 2014 - 2:00PM EDT
A recent His & Hers episode on ESPN featured hosts Michael Smith and Jemel Hill debated the recent expansion of The Ultimate Fighting Championships into South Korea. They also argued potential sunbs to the inaguaral class of inductees to theWorld Video Game Hall of Fame. c The two games that the couple ended up agreeing upon being “snubed” out of the Hall of Fame were Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. The fact that video games (particularly the fighting icons of MK & SF) being talked about on ESPN foreshadows E-Gamings future sporting acceptance among the American Public. Watch the video to see the hosts attempt their own versions of Scorpions iconic GET OVER HERE spear maneuver.
Sub-Zero makes his first World Cup appearance! Friday, June 20, 2014 - 2:00PM EDT
World Cup Soccer just got a new mascott! Playing away can be difficult at the best of times, but for Persepolis F.C. of the Asian Champions League - the Al Hilal home crowd reception was especially icey! Fans of the Al Hilal blue side adopted Sub-Zero as an intimidating mascot visage, creating the kombatant in unison with crowd signs. They took the Mortal Kombat theme to its logical conclusion, flipping the signs to reveal "Finish 'em"! You can see the whole transition in a video posted by the club.
Mortal Kombats appearance at just a prestigious sporting event, in an untapped video game market such as The Middle East foreshadows E-Gaming eventual growth and eventual sporting prowess within the tec-developing nations.

The mental aspect of competing in combat sports and competing in fighting games is very similar. Both thrive on one-on-one competition and strive to be the best by defeating a singular opponent.
